Copywriting Tips: Write the way you talk
1. Write the way that you talk, in a conversational tone.
2. You don't need to use the grammar that you tried to learn at school.
3. You should write copy like real people would talk over a cup of tea or glass of wine.
4. Use easy to understand words.
5. Don't be tempted to write poetry or war and peace in your copy.
6. Write person to person.
7. Write short sentences and paragraphs, and try to vary the length.
8. Inject some humour if appropriate.
9. Never commit the greatest sin in copywriting
